Half of the beach is soft sand and the other half is the rocky coral outcropping typical of many St Croix beaches. Good views of Buck Island on the horizon to the northwest!

Cramer Park beach is long and beautiful and the water is warm and crystal clear. There are facilities.bathrooms and changing rooms, picnic tables, etc. There can be a lot of locals on the weekends, especially on Sundays and holidays, but generally on Monday through Friday it is deserted!
